These sticky, salty, sweet, Asian chicken wings are my take on wings I had growing up at a Chinese restaurant in Warwick, Rhode Island. The restaurant The Islander was a childhood favorite and still one of the restaurants I like to visit when I go back to RI to see family. All of their food is good, but the one food that I crave the most is their chicken wings. This recipe comes close to The Islander's wings, but it is not perfect. I will probably be posting an update in the future as I refine the recipe.
