Turn on your oven on the lowest setting to keep waffles warm while making them.
Turn on waffle maker to preheat.
Combine dry ingredients in large mixing bowl and mix to combine.
Add wet ingredients to dry ingredients and max to combine. Do not overmix, some small lumps will still remain.
Spray the cooking surface of the waffle maker with Pam or vegetable oil for the first waffle, do not spray for every waffle, only spray again if waffles start to stick.
Scoop batter onto the bottom surface. Be sure not to overfill the waffle maker (follow your waffle maker's directions for quantity). Close the lid and flip the handle and cook until golden brown; the time for this may vary depending on your waffle maker.
Once each waffle is finished, put it on a baking pan or a wire rack and place them into the oven to keep warm so that all waffles can be served at the same time.
Notes
Leftover waffles can be frozen and reheat in a toaster very well.
