Cleaning a Blackstone Griddle
This is how I clean my Blackstone Griddle, it is not the only way, but it is my way.
Materials
- 3 Paper towels
- 1 Squirt bottle of room temperature water
- 1 Squirt bottle of oil I use canola
Instructions
- Get the griddle warm.
- Scrape with scraper.
- Spray water on hot griddle surface and scrape again.
- Fold one of the paper towels in half, then in half again and in half one more time.
- Spray water on the hot griddle and place the paper towel under the scraper and wipe down the griddle surface.
- Repeat the last two steps with the second paper towel.
- Fold the 3rd paper towel the same way as the first two.
- Spray oil onto the griddle surface.
- Place the paper towel under the scraper and wipe the surface of the griddle down with oil.
- Turn the griddle off.
- Cover the griddle once cool.
